Plans and Yummy Malaysian Food

The Caribbean has been calling. And we answered. Mexico is stop number one on our next international excursion. Mexico was country #2, but in the name of the late Black Eyed Peas hit, we just can’t get enough. Hello tacos and a new region, Quintana Roo on the East side, the Caribbean side. But not so fast. First up is Columbus, Calihari (a waterpark), San Francisco to catch a Mariners game vs. the Giants (all in the next 3 weeks), then it’s off to the haven of pirates of old, rum, beaches, and can’t come soon enough travel freedom. Our itchy feet will finally get scratched.

Let me tell you, planning a trip is a doozy. Years back in my wee youth I was of the “just go and it’ll be fine” mentality, booking only flights and accommodations, but although it made for less work, we’ve learned our lesson. Traveling is often comprised of long spurts of problem solving, and while there’s nothing wrong with solving problems, it’s easy to get decision fatigue on the road. Add on the high of first visiting a new place, and let me tell you, will you tire soon. Ergo, decide more now = less fatigue later. That’s what I’ll be doing over the next few weeks

You Just Have To Try It…

Sweet corn on the cob coated in butter, cocoanut milk, and roasted over a wood fire grill, crisped and charred.

All for just over 1$.

Yeah, you read that right. Malaysia is amazing folks.

That’s it for this week’s Sunday Somewhere, y’all! I know, I know. You have to wait another week. But doesn’t it make it that much sweeter when it finally comes?

Cheers y’all. Hope you’re having a great June.

Love and Peace,

Wyatt (and Reyka)
